Description
Motivation
While CSS and PNG compression fall outside of the core scope of SmartSprites, it would be convenient if they could be optionally called after SmartSprites processing.
Implementation
The command line and Ant scripts could be extended to detect some extra options that would enable CSS and PNG compression. Ideally, depending on the licenses, the compression tool binaries could ship together with SmartSprites.
The exact option names are yet to be specified.
