Description

I was playing with c2/head on the official website. Firefox 3.6.8. Occasionally (couldn't find a deterministic scenario yet) when clicking on cluster labels, nothing shows on the document list panel. Screenshot attached.

JS dump. I think the line number shown in firefox should actually be the one before, but showing the context if it helps.

I've known about this issue for a while and have tried to reproduce and fix it a few times, without much success so far. I'll have a look once again.

I've had some luck with this path:

  • go to http://demo.carrot2.org/stable/search
  • enter an uncached query that returns some results (something random, ad-hoc),
  • click on cluster labels, works fine,
  • change the algorithm to STC,
  • click SEARCH,
  • click on cluster labels, nothing appears in the doc. list.
